How ordering works

Until online checkout opens, every order runs through a written quote. Four steps, no pressure.

  1. Tell us what you need

A model number, a photo of the data plate on your old unit, or the square footage and layout of the space.

  2. Get a written quote

Itemized equipment, freight to your zip code and any parts you asked for, usually within one business day.

  3. Approve and pay

Secure payment by card or PayPal. Nothing ships until you have approved the exact equipment and total.

  4. Freight delivery

Curbside liftgate delivery to your address. Inspect the cartons, note any damage on the receipt, then sign.

Questions and answers

The things people ask before their first equipment order.

Can homeowners buy from you, or only contractors?

Both. Homeowners, landlords, property managers and licensed contractors can all buy from us. Keep in mind that most manufacturers require installation by a licensed HVAC contractor for the parts warranty to apply, and Florida requires a state-licensed contractor for HVAC installation.

Where do you ship?

We ship to the 48 contiguous states. Complete systems, condensers, furnaces and air handlers go by LTL freight to your curb. Smaller parts ship by ground parcel. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, PO boxes or outside the United States. See the shipping policy for details.

How do I know what size system I need?

Send us your square footage, ceiling height, insulation and window situation, and your city. We will size the system with a load calculation rather than a rule of thumb, because an oversized unit in Gulf Coast humidity short-cycles and leaves the house clammy. If you are replacing an existing system, a photo of its data plate is the fastest starting point.

Does the price include installation?

No. We sell equipment only. You or your contractor handle installation, permits and startup. Buying the equipment yourself and paying a contractor for labor is often the lowest total cost, and it lets you choose exactly the brand and efficiency you want.

What refrigerant do new systems use?

New residential systems now ship with lower-global-warming refrigerants, mainly R-454B and R-32. Existing R-410A systems can still be serviced, and R-410A equipment manufactured before 2025 can still be installed in most states. If you are replacing only the outdoor unit, the refrigerant has to match the indoor coil, so tell us what you have.

What if my equipment arrives damaged?

Inspect every carton before you sign the delivery receipt. Note any damage on the receipt, take photos, and email hello@hvaconsale.com within 48 hours. If the damage is severe, refuse the delivery. Freight damage noted at delivery is covered; damage reported later is much harder to claim, so please open it while the driver is there.
